Rig Receipt release notes

Support for the new CODA System Optimiser and its PDF Rigging Report, plus box links and split links with a slimmer link column on every rigging card.

CODA System Optimiser 1.1 and PDF Rigging Reports

• –.cvop projects import from CODA System Optimiser 1.1 as well as 1.0. Rig Receipt finds whichever version is installed.
• –New: import the Rigging Report PDF that System Optimiser 1.1 exports. Choose CODA AUDIO, click IMPORT FILE, then pick the .cvop or the PDF.
• –Ground sub stacks come through from the PDF, so the sub layout card still shows each stack's position and which cabinets face front or reversed.
• –Matching left and right hangs are combined into one card marked L1 / R1.
• –The link groups set in System Optimiser are filled in on the card automatically, from either the .cvop or the PDF.
• –PDF import works on Windows. .cvop import still needs CODA System Optimiser installed on a Mac.

Box links

Mark which boxes are linked together, so the rigging team can see pairs and groups at a glance. Works on every rigging card: L-Acoustics, d&b, CODA and Martin Audio.

1. 1Import your file so the rigging cards show in the preview.
2. 2Click boxes on the receipt preview to select them. Selected rows turn grey. Click again to deselect.
3. 3Under BOX LINKS on the left, click LINK to pair 2 neighbouring boxes, or group 3.
4. 4To change a link, select the boxes and click UNLINK.

The LNK column shows each pair or group as a black block with the number of boxes in it. A white line marks where the next pair or group starts. Unlinked boxes show 1. The column is now narrower, giving the box type and angle more room on 80mm paper.

Split links

For boxes that are linked but not next to each other, such as box 1 and box 6.

1. 1Select exactly two boxes on the receipt.
2. 2Click SPLIT LINK. A thin line is drawn down the left side of the card, joining the two boxes.
3. 3Add more split links if you need them. Each one gets its own lane, so the lines are easy to tell apart.
4. 4To remove one, select either box and click UNLINK.

Selection highlights and the link buttons never print. Only the link column and split link lines appear on the receipt.

Box links and split links

Manual azimuth

• –L-Acoustics hangs have an Azimuth field under ARRAYS. If the report already includes azimuth it is filled in, and you can overwrite it.

Windows and Soundvision fixes

• –Rig Receipt is now available for Windows as well as macOS.
• –Sub orientation from Soundvision reports now imports correctly.
